Fog City Resort

We stayed in an Airbnb flat in Fog City recently during a long weekend. Its Completely deserted and seems abandoned. Many have purchased flats and bungalows as weekend homes but we found nearly 90% of them locked even during the long weekend. Its very lonely in the evening time. A small shop with basic things operates in the Complex but for necessary items one needs to drive to Igatpuri station which is 5kms away.

Booked a flat in this resort. Even basic needs were not available. Whole flat was smelling terrible. Each and every electric equipment was off including TV, AC, WIFI, Water Heater. Never chose flats from this resorts. House Help is terrible. When we complained to owner he said cancel the booking and leave the property at last moment. And refused to pay the refund amount. DO NOT STAY HERE

We stayed for 3 nights, it was peak monsoon so the place was full foggy and the rooms were full of moisture, visibility was very low (not a matter of concern), one drawback is that we have to take the wrong way to enter into it as it's the only way to it.

The location of the villa is best, the rooms were also average but good according to budget. But there of lack of service

Nice place to spend time with your friends and family. They have a swimming pool which is nice but is dirty because many people use that at once. The water is not clear in the pool so if you are wearing something which can easily fall off, don’t wear in the pool. The villas are clean and have all the facility like utensils, music system, enough furniture for sitting and clean beds, bedsheets and blankets. You can certainly visit to beat the heat
