Jaylo’s Lake Resort

Very disappointing experience! We visited this resort at Igatpuri from 23rd to 25th October for a Diwali family get-together. The location is very far and the approach roads are in terrible condition. We had booked 3 tents, but they were dirty and smelly when we arrived. Even the swimming pool was filthy — we requested cleaning, but the staff ignored it. Later, when one of our family members complained strongly to the manager, only then they sent staff to clean — and we were shocked to see so much garbage, bidis, etc. inside. Clearly, they don’t clean properly after each checkout. The food was average, not worth the price we paid. Overall, poor hygiene, unresponsive staff, and bad maintenance — would not recommend this place at all. The only good thing about this resort is the surrounding view, which is nice for photos.

The standards are dropping drastically. Only good thing is the view. Everything else is horrible. We went in October, the tents had fungus, water leaking inside, food was under cooked, and they barely had 2 people managing the entire resort!! People were made to wait till 10am for breakfast! A lot of people left dissatisfied without breakfast. The spread had 2 options - poha - horrible & omelette - good. We wanted to go to the pool on Day 1, but the water was Yellow. They assured us the water will be cleaned, but it never happened. There were dead animals in the pool!! It was disease infested. The pool machine was not working, all they did was throw chlorine in it day after day. I forbid travellers to go here!!!!

Jaylos resort is nice but not maintained by the sta0ff , the owner should come and pay attention...service boys are very local guys no hygiene nothing...I recommend don't go till the don't change the staff and the ambiance is also had become very messy.. Tent were really bad condition. I went with my friends for 1 night stay...but very disappointing by the service..place is very nice the scenic is beautiful...and pls maintain the pool..it has lotus to maintain and make it nice so ppl feel like to stay..

Our second visit was disappointing compared to our previous stay. We booked a tent house, and when it rained the room leaked. It also smelled musty, with room freshener used as a cover-up. The pool was poorly maintained—we even found dead frogs. Food was just okay, and the earlier management was noticeably better. We also faced frequent power outages, and there was no water in the early morning for basic hygiene (it was restored after we reported it). The only saving grace was the mesmerizing views. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Around 1 hour journey from Nashik city. Close to the Nashik mumbai highway. Situated in the quite present nature of the Darna river shore. Around 3 acres of area with gardening and plantation. Nice place for family and friends. Food can be better. Rooms are good. Overall a good experience!
