Manas Resort Petting Zoo Igatpuri

We recently had a pleasant stay at this resort in Igatpuri. The property is excellently situated, making it very easy to locate and access. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the petting zoo. While the experience was enjoyable, we found that the animal and bird interactions were scheduled simultaneously. We genuinely wish the timings were staggered so guests could have the opportunity to interact with all the different animals and birds without having to choose; unfortunately, we missed out on the bird petting due to the overlap. Regarding the hospitality, the service staff were consistently warm and welcoming, which added a personal touch to our stay. The rooms were well-maintained and clean, though it is worth noting that it takes a few minutes for the hot water to begin running in the showers. Overall, this is a positive and highly recommended destination for a relaxing getaway.

I recently visited **Manas Zoo Petting Resort** for a one-night, two-day stay, and honestly, it turned out to be an awesome and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out clearly. The staff truly treats guests like a boss — starting right from smooth car parking to the warm and courteous welcome at the reception. That first impression itself sets the tone for the entire stay. What impressed me the most was the politeness, lightness, and generosity shown by every staff member across the premises. Whether it was reception, restaurant, housekeeping, or the animal caretakers, everyone was approachable, helpful, and genuinely happy to assist. This kind of consistent service makes a big difference and creates a very comfortable atmosphere for guests. A thoughtful and unique touch was the provision of copper vessels for drinking water. This not only reflects attention to guest convenience but also shows their care for health and sustainability, as guests don’t have to carry their own water bottles around the resort. The entire premises are neat, clean, and very well maintained. The resort has two swimming pools, which are clean and relaxing, making them perfect for both adults and kids to unwind. The overall environment feels calm, green, and refreshing — ideal for a short getaway from city life. The highlight of the stay is, of course, the petting zoo experience. They have a wonderful variety of pets and animals, including birds, dogs, cats, big lizards, iguanas, and more. The interaction sessions are well organized, with two dedicated time slots — morning from 8:30 to 10:00 and evening from 4:30 to 6:00. These sessions are engaging, safe, and enjoyable, especially for families and children. It’s a great opportunity to interact closely with animals in a controlled and caring environment. Coming to food — yes, it is slightly on the costlier side, especially the à la carte options, but the taste completely justifies the price. Every dish was delicious and well prepared. The buffet breakfast, in particular, was excellent, with good variety and quality. You can clearly see effort being put into both taste and presentation. They are able to take care of small things like camphor in bathroom even all common bathroom in common areas are clean. View from room was awesome.. The only thing I found problematic was the bathroom toilet seat flush location.. because of this seat not opening properly.. In short, everything about the experience was really good — hospitality, cleanliness, animal interactions, food quality, and overall management. Manas Zoo Petting Resort is a perfect place for a peaceful weekend stay, family outing, or a nature-centric experience with animals. I would definitely recommend it and would happily visit again.

Wonderful ambience, delicious food, and exceptional hospitality. What makes it even more special for us is that our pet, Cookie, is so comfortable here — freely moving around and meeting other pets and guests. A truly unique and wonderful experience with a very comfortable stay. The food was absolutely mouth-watering. We had an amazing time surrounded by nature, and my child especially loved the friendly pets—she didn’t want to leave the resort! It was a lifetime experience filled with sweet memories. Good place with neat environment. It is suitable for spending about half day. The facilities are nice but there was irregular network connection in the hotel rooms. Too costly with limited number of activities. Better for spending time with your family by experiencing nature and animals but doesn't satisfy people who like doing activities. Overall it is a good place for pet lovers and nature seekers.
