Terms of Service

By accessing or using Igatpuri.org (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Igatpuri.org is an online directory of businesses, trekking routes, events, and local deals in Igatpuri, Maharashtra. We provide a platform for business owners to list their services and for travellers to discover local experiences.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password.
• You must notify us immediately at hello@igatpuri.org of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Accounts may be suspended for violation of these terms.
• One account per person or business entity.

4.1 Business Owner Responsibilities

• All information you submit must be truthful and accurate.
• You must keep hours, contact details, and prices up to date.
• You may not list services you do not actually offer.
• You are responsible for responding to customer reviews in a professional manner.

4.2 Prohibited Content

Listings may not contain: false claims, illegal services, adult content, competitor defamation, keyword stuffing, or duplicate entries. We reserve the right to remove any listing without notice.

4.3 Photos

You warrant that you own or have the right to use all photos submitted. By submitting photos, you grant Igatpuri.org a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them on the platform.

• Reviews must reflect genuine personal experiences.
• Do not post reviews about competitors or reviews you were paid or incentivised to write.
• We moderate reviews but are not liable for their content.
• Business owners may flag reviews for investigation but may not demand removal without cause.

6.1 Paid Tier Plans

Paid listing tiers (Standard, Premium, Sponsored) are charged in advance for the period stated at checkout. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable GST.

6.2 Renewal

Plans do not auto-renew automatically. We will email you 30 days before expiry with a renewal option. Failure to renew will downgrade your listing to a Free tier.

6.3 Refunds

We offer a 7-day refund window for first-time paid upgrades if your listing has not yet been approved. No refunds are issued after 7 days or once the listing is live on the platform.

6.4 Payment Processor

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Their terms apply to payment transactions.

All editorial content, logos, and design elements on Igatpuri.org are owned by us and may not be copied without written permission. User-submitted business content (descriptions, photos) remains the property of the business owner; by submitting it you grant us the license described in clause 4.3.

• Scraping, crawling, or bulk downloading listing data without permission
• Using the platform to spam or solicit other users
• Attempting to hack, deface, or disrupt the Service
• Creating fake accounts or spoofing identities
• Reselling access to listings without permission

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties that the information in listings is accurate or current — it is supplied by business owners. We are not responsible for experiences at listed businesses.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Igatpuri.org shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for direct claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Nashik, Maharashtra.

We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
